An occasional dive buddy of mine emailed me the site and I have told others about it. I don't know if anyone has joined as a result. With winter coming, I won't be diving much now for a while and won't see other divers as much;-0 until spring. And since I joined late this year, I haven't spread the word that much, but I intend to next dive season. (Wish I lived where many of you all do to be able to dive all year... oh well)

I've told several people, some never joined, others joined but never really got active.

I think that message boards, not just this one, require a fair amount of computer and 'Net knowledge to get comfortable with. Lots of folks just don't have that.

Come on...there's got to be a lake or something up there in Wisconsin to dive....we find places in OH, but I must confess, once it gets to be Jan.-Feb. it is a little to cold to be running around in a wet-suit

But I reccomend anyone interested in diving to check it out. There are many good ideas and discussions on this board.....and hey you might even make some new friends and aquire some new dive buddies........... :boom: :boom:

I met the majority of my dive buddies here and many new friends. The information I pick up here is invaluable. We just had a get together where I met 11 people from the board, some of which I had dove with in the past, some just from the board. What a great place! I do recommend it highly to anyone I might think is interested.

AaronBrown told me about this site because I kept asking him to dive during the week. He said that there are always people on this board who would be able to dive anytime.

It's been super easy to find a buddy so I got hooked. I have also made some nice friends too!

Just like Wreckwriter, I plan to spread the word to people I like...

My husband is a daily visitor to this site and until today I teased him about it. I am a diver as well, but I had never taken a close look at the site, and the fact that he gets home from work, kisses me on the cheek:1st: and heads stright to the computer had me calling this site his mistress, I was jealous, until I checked it out when he wasn't home and am myself secretly hooked!

If he finds out I am :spank: ...and not in a good way!

yeah, I think I'll try to get out tomorrow, but the season is getting very short for me.
