Hi all,

I've been researching rebreathers for several years for my own interest, but today when I was explaining the operational differences between CCRs and SCRs my boss suggested I put together a paper on rebreathers, so now I get to research 'em at work. I LOVE MY JOB! Now if I can just convince him I need to use company time to build my RB project...

Anyway, here's where I need some help: I've done a lot of reading on the 'net r.e. homebrew projects, but now I need to try to find as much specific technical information on as many rebreathers as I can, especially older O2 units. I'm familiar with theory of operation and the like, I need to know specifics like bottle sizes and pressures, flow rates, manual or mechanical addition, nozzle size...

So far I've found online copies of user's manuals for the Dräger FGG III, Dräger Norge II, and Dräger SM 1, but even they aren't as specific as I'm hoping for.

If you know of any other resources, please let me know.

Thanks.

For info on (2 rebreathers check out janwillem Beech's

He's an O2 rig buff, may it be for diving, mining or safety.
Just send him a pile of pics for his website.
I think he's still on vacation, but send him an e-mail anyway.
He has a lot of info on O2 rigs and might be able to help.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

BTW, a couple of years ago I printed out some info on the CCR60 rebreather, and one of the pages has a picture that looks just like your avitar. Any connection? Is that what you're diving?

Actually, I never heard of a CCR60.
The avatar is a steam machine, I dive a Prism Topaz CCR.
For a while they got a lot of flak from people on the boards, so I used their cartoon character to show where I'm coming from.
