I currently dive with double steel 100s and a AL 40 deco bottle, using a Dive Rite Classic wing with 59 lbs of lift. I am thinking about getting two 80s either steel or aluminum for stage bottles. Will my classic wing still be able to provide enough lift for only aluminums? Or can it still do steel? Or do I need a bigger air cell? Any sugguestions.

It will have enough lift to handle the steel stages. However, you will find that YOU will like the aluminum stager much better. They are much easier to handle underwater due to the boyancy characteristics .

Aluminum stage are usually prefered, that is unless you go with these guys: http://tdl.divebiz.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_95&products_id=101905

They are steel tanks with the buoyancy characteristics of aluminum tanks and on sale for the price of aluminum tanks.

p.s. I dont work for tdl. I just bought 2 of the tanks and am trying to prove the merit of my decision by convincing others to do the same ;-) I don't even have them yet, but they do look sweet.

I dive double 130's and dive with 2 al 80's with a classic wing no problums yet
as for stages best tanks to get are luxfer al 80 the have the best boyence caracteristic

59Lbs is a LOT of lift........ I dive a 55 lbs sometimes with 2 stages, double LP108's and AL 40, all full and it can be managed.

I also dive with LP 108's and often carry an AL 80 and an AL 40 using the DR classic wing with with no problem. You will be fine. Stick with the AL stages.
