It was not standard for the classes I took and those I helped out with. My instructor required 8 dives. Plus extra dives if you screwed the pooch and needed some extra time.SterlingCGJ:Please forgive me if this is the wrong area for this question. I am interested in taking some tech classes/diving and a local LDS is offering Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures via TDI. I inquired about these classes and was told they are $300.00 each or $550.00 combined. Not complaining about the cost but I was told these were classroom only no dives. Now, I guess I could buy the Advanced Nitrox being classroom only ( although it seems there should be dives with it) but how the heck do you teach Decompression Precedures without any dives? Any other TDI people out there able to tell me if this is standard?
