Its a good choice. Easy to read, good price, does everything you would want, has guage mode, user replacable batteries, good wrist band, and is darn cool looking.

Plus, it has a bungee mount available from DSS. The only downside, at least for me, is that I find the menus confusing for some of the less used settings.

I've got one and recommend it highly. Also got the bungee mount which is nice. It's pretty easy to use and easy to read.

I've been using one since Feb. Previously I was Suunto all the way. No more. The T2g is a nice computer.

I use one as my backup to my DR Nitek Duo. The reason it is a backup is that I find it harder to read (my eyes are old) and the menus a bit confusing as well. However, I have to admit I don't RTFM so the menu thing is my fault, not Uwatec's. I've had no trouble downloading the data (which I can't do on my Nitek Duo).

If you plan on serious technical diving later on, it is the only computer out there that has resettable depth averaging in gauge mode.

I've had mine for about 2 years now and I LOVE it. Easy to use and lots of options, especially if you plan on doing any technical diving.

I've got a couple of hundred+ on dives on mine and am very happy with it. Mine has been used in both gauge mode and as a computer and never let me down. I would also recommend the DSS bunjee mount.
