Industry partners with PADI for Tec Xplor Day in Cairns - MARCH 25th

The Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) is partnering with Pro Dive Cairns, Tech Dive Academy of Port Douglas, and Hollis of California, USA to bring the first Tec Xplor Day to Cairns on March 25th.
Tec Xplor Days represent an opportunity for Scuba divers of all levels of experience to enjoy a day of tech diving related experiences, find out more about technical diver training and use technical dive equipment.
The day will be held at Pro Dives new $3 million training centre on Spence St, in Cairns.
A BBQ lunch will be available, sponsored by PADI, with proceeds going to the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation centre.
Attendance is free. Prize draws will be held during the day.
The day will consist of:
- Scheduled talks from guest speakers, including presentations on Recreational & Technical Sidemount, Nitrox, Technical Wings & Harnesses (Singles, Twins, Stages), Dry Suits and Full Face Masks.
- The opportunity to speak with technical equipment manufacturers and PADI Asia Pacific staff.
- The chance to dive with the latest technical diving equipment in the on-site pool.
The day time session 11am to 3.30pm is open to the public, and this will be followed by an Industry evening session (6.30pm to 9pm) for professional industry members.
