I think now we have the internet which helps show what right looks like. That really wasn't available in the same way when I was learning archery.
With the caveat that the internet is full of utter nonsense. The likes of YouTube (=free) contains loads of wrong or poor information masquerading as “good”.

The novice’s challenge is they don’t know what they don’t know; sorting the wheat from the chaff can be difficult and risky, especially on the internet. This can also be true for well meaning mentors without the experience and depth of skills, for example recreational NDL divers won’t have the same level of skills as technically trained and experienced people.

This is where “paid for” knowledge frequently pays massive dividends as less time is wasted.
