Tec Diving Buddy

I have recently moved back to the States from Okinawa, Japan, only been back about 4 months. Still getting a feel for all the diving in my neck of the woods. One thing I have noticed is the lack of technical divers in the Biloxi, MS/Gulf Coast area. That said, I am looking for a buddy to complete a few decompression dives in the area. Mississippi is by no means the diving capital of the world, so I am willing to travel a few hours on a weekend.

I would like to complete a deco dive on the Oriskany in the next month.

I hold a PADI MSDT and Tec 50 certification.

If I were you, I'd contact a couple dive shops in Panama City Beach and state your skills, experience, and intentions, and they might be able to hook you up.

Also, being in Biloxi...you're only 3.5 hours from Marianna. I know that was random and off-topic, I just wanted to inform you that I'm jealous.

I'm in PCB and doing AN/DP shortly. I doubt I can deco the O in the next month, but I'll come join you once I can. I'm new to the area too and have noticed the same lack of tekkies.

You might want to repeat your question in that geographical area forum on ScubaBoard. You might get some ideas from people who might miss your post here.
