Hi David, the bomber is 143' to the sand/mud which is actually very easily stirred up, so buoyancy control is a must on this dive. My class that I have posted is going to be taught in the lake on several differents sites, such as the ag piles, and a few others. All the class dives will be on Sin City Scuba's boat, and after the students are certified the following day they will dive the bomber.
As far as who is allowed to dive the bomber, the park service is only allowing you to dive it within your training. So if you are not a certified decompression diver you are not allowed to go into deco, or pass 130. I believe SCS will take you but it seems like alot of money to spend if you only get a few minutes to look at it. Also you don't descend straight to the bomber. They have set the mooring lines up so no boats are anchored above. This prevents damage from things being dropped from a boat. My point in saying that though is that in a nodeco situation you will only get to peak at the tail just in time to head back to the up line.
If you want a deal you will need to talk with SCS about that.
