Do you think they have them in the airport, or nearby in Nadi? I might not have time to get one in Hawaii.

...since you live in the US you will probably need to bring power adapters and converters with you to Fiji, see the link below. I have never been there but one time I traveled to Seoul, S. Korea and I didn't bring adapters or a converter and that was a big mistake. I thought that I had investigated the destination thoroughly and that I was well-prepared but I was wrong because none of my rectangular plugs fit into the circular sockets and the power could damage my devices without using a converter!

Maybe you can order from Amazon and have them delivered quickly?

Before buying anything, you should ask at the resort and dive shop, perhaps they have loaners or have made other arrangements. I am sure that they get other visitors from the US and Canada and other locations that have the same issue, and others here on SB that are familiar with Fiji should be able to advise you.

I was in the center of Seoul, a large city, and I couldn't find any adapters/converters for sale but I was on business and didn't have much time to shop. But I did do some sightseeing and I looked for adapters and converters whenever I could, and at stores around the hotel, and I couldn't find any, but airport shops seem like a likely place to sell them.

The Korean hotel took pity on me and they loaned me a converter, it was about the size and weight of a canned ham and you could only plug in one item at a time - so if I wanted to use my curling iron I had to carry "the canned ham" into the bathroom with me!

I have since seen smaller, travel converters and adapters for sale that look much more convenient.

Our hotel had 110V provided from their generator and to only to the dive shop (battery charging). You might ask the hotel if they provide this or if they only use street power at 220v.

Thanks. Nothing comes to Hawaii quickly! Amazon Prime is bogus, it still takes a week.

Paradise Taveuni will give me 50% off last-minute booking if they have space!!

That's wonderful! I know that you will be busy starting your new job, but please take the time to come back here to post a review of your trip so that others can learn from your experiences.

Yes please post a review of Paradise Taveuni and their dive op etc!

I just booked Paradise for 5 days in September:). Oceanfront Bure too.
This is to follow Tonga trip on the Nai'a...

It’s going to be a good review. Do not hesitate to book with Paradise.

Tip: stop in town on the way from the airport and get drinks! Breakfast is the only meal that includes a drink other than water.
