In the diving community it is taken to mean, "Dive until death." The literal translation of the words from latin are:
urino : to dive
donec : up to the time when, until, as long as, while.
mortalis : mortal
So, I guess you could take the literal translation to mean, "To dive as long as mortal."

Just as an FYI, in latin mortalitas means death. This translation comes from here in case you want to check: New Latin Word List: 7748
