Tape residue on Wisdom 2 screen

What is a safe product to rid tape residue off of the screen. I quit buying the plastic shields due to excessive scratching. The packing tape protected the screen for several months, but didn't come off clean. I placed more tape on the screen but with the residue I did not get a good seal. Any help out there.

I always use a light coat of WD-40. Don't hose it down but a light film on a soft cloth. Then you can use rubbing alcohol to clean the WD-40 off.

GOO GONE... Great stuff, you can find it at Walmart in the cleaning supplies or fabric / hobby centers.
