Drinksfromtap, thanks for the extra details. That makes sense to my decidedly non drinking-water-treatment-engineer brain. Similar to how CO2 dissolved in H2O forms H2CO3, which then dissipates as my beer goes flat. I guess I don't need to say I'm not a chemist by trade. :)

Personally, I only use Poland Spring to rinse my gear. You can drink from my wing -It's delightful! Thanks for the advice Jerry!
Back when I started diving, people would store their BCD for the winter with a small bottle of vodka inside to prevent mold from growing. Also an easy way to get drinks on a plane ($4.50 for a tequila sunrise! hell I' bring my own....) Of course at the time i was also able to tip the skycap $5 so my bag would go on the conveyer AFTER the scale.

A little chlorine isn't that bad, rinsing with Mexican tap water is much worse...I don't drink from my BC :)

that's because you're not putting the right stuff in it....:D
