I'll be with a car in GC, so want to do lots of shore dives (non-solo, we're two), I don't think there are any places on the east / south-east side?
We've always been able to rent from OF if we book a couple of boat dives with them. I think it's a fair deal.

I think so too. Where are OF? By 7MB or East-end?

Oh, and by the way, Dave; There are some fantastic shore dives on the southeast side (as well as the northeast side) of the island. Weather is king and will make your decision for you in most cases. Get a copy of Franko's Grand Cayman Dive Map. They are sold out of the foldable waterproof maps on their website, but last I checked, they were available on ebay cheap. 1 week for us!

I got my Franco last week ordered from eBay, shipping from Vancouver within Canada was dirt cheap.

Depending on wind direction, we'll drive to whatever side has no chops.

Perfect for Ocean Frontier, I'd rather drive to the far East for cylinder refills than past Georgetown into 7MB. They have a website too, I'll give them a call.

I havent verified this, but I've heard that Lobster Pot also rents take-away tanks.
