I'll be with a car in GC, so want to do lots of shore dives (non-solo, we're two), I don't think there are any places on the east / south-east side?

Oh, and by the way, Dave; There are some fantastic shore dives on the southeast side (as well as the northeast side) of the island. Weather is king and will make your decision for you in most cases. Get a copy of Franko's Grand Cayman Dive Map.
