You could polish it till It's shiny , hmm , lures are shiny, ahh maybe thats not such a good idea :11:

Sand blasting on a light setting works well or a mild chemical stripper just be sure to keep it away from the valve. as for painting use your imagination just make sure to put a couple of clear coats on it
