Tank Fills - Midland Or Penetang

Well, weather looks good so I'm spending today loading the Boat up and Tomorrow morning it's off to Georgian Bay till Tuesday.

Does anyone know where you can get refills in the Midland / Penetang area? Preferably something close to the water as we will be pulling in by boat. We want to dive around Hope and Beckwith and will need refills as we only have 1 tank each right now. I've been told the Firehall in Penetang will refill. Anyone know??

According to the brand new issue of Scuba Press, the fire department in Midland will fill for $6.00. Editors note said they confirmed. Considering the cost of fuel, I'd splurge and rent extra tanks for the weekend.

Hmmm - never considered the extra tank idea but your right, considering what it will cost me to come back in - plus the hassle, I am going to rent some. Thanks for the idea!!! Now, lets hope the winds stay down so I can stay out there and not have to seek a port at night!!
