Does anyone use some sort of strap or carry handle to carry their tanks? I've always used rented tanks, but recently bought my own steel tanks which means I have to carry them to the boat with all my other gear. I figure with some way to carry both tanks in one trip, I'll be able to get everything from my car in two trips.

I was thinking something like this: Amazon.com : Storm Webbing Scuba Tank Carrier : Diving Tank Accessories : Sports & Outdoors

But my BC has two tank bands and it seems like this will interfere, unless I put it near the bottom of the tank which may not hold too well/be unstable. The carrier looks like it can be easily adjusted/removed so that may not be an issue. Does anyone use one of these?

A dolly would be another choice but my car is small and it's unlikely I would be able to get it to fit on the way to the marina!

Thanks

A cylinder hanging from each hand balances pretty well if you're tall enough to do that with your cylinders of choice.

Home made scuba tank carrier

I made this yesterday (was bored) from some old straps I cut off of some old bags we were throwing out.
