Aquamaniac once bubbled...
I dont like them, Are the halcyon ones good?
The SS Halcyon ones replace the plastic buckle... you just spread the u-ring (by hand) to take the plastic one off and put the SS one on... (and if you end up with it upside down you can take it off and turn it over :D)

I have had the plastic ones break... the SS ones are the ticket!

Tomorrow I am heading to the LDS to fix the problem once and for all. Lesiure Pro said that they'll issue a credit for the cost of a new one, just in case its warranted and for all the fuss.

Thanks all for what help you tried to provide. And no thanks to those who thought it was fun and games...just provesmy theory of the mentality (or lack of) of SOME of the board's users.

I get thanks for suggesting the right answer and "no thanks" for playing with you?

I don't think you're in a good position to be talking about "theories of mentality" as you're certain to come up on the short end with your history of foolishness here.

Think about it pud. Consider yourself lucky we still respond to your questions.

Since no else here will help...

I also have a Mares bc, and I looking at the strap there's nothing wrong with yours. I know the threading diagram is tough to follow, but it is correct. What threw me a bit was that the strap has to loop around underneath itself, so you have to leave enough slack to be able to do this.

It will work, it's just a PITA. If you still can't do it, go ahead and go to your LDS. These straps are pretty universal.

How come you took it apart in the first place? That's how I got myself in trouble. :)

Man you guys can be cold. :cold: :D

There is a history here FLL...

Plus FLL... several of us did help... and you might want to go check your strap and see which side the velcro is on.

But fellas... a little discernment is called for here... there is a time and a place for everything and while we often poke fun at one another... sometimes it just isn't appropriate.

I have deleted more than I have posted to this thread...

I will PM you.
