forgive my ignorance.. could you explain what you know of the tampering law?

Actually, Cave Diver mentioned that tampering can be considered attempted manslaughter in Florida. I can't understnd how you can have "attempted" manslaughter, since manslaughter is by nature not intentional (careless desregard or negligence leading to the death of another, I believe.)

However, I can see it as reckless endangerment or something like that with special penalties attached by unwritten consent of most (all?) Florida judges when considering sentencing.

I believe that I just made an error when I made that response. Rather than saying attempted manslaughter, it should have been attempted homicide.
