My wife and I will be in Tampa, FL the first week in January on a business trip, and were wondering how the diving is there.

More importantly... can we get by with our 3/2 full wetsuits at that time of year?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Unless you don't feel cold at all, a 3/2 won't cut it. I'd wear a 7 mm with a hood. Depending on how bad a winter we get, the water temps could be anywhere from the upper 40s to the mid 60s.

Walter is right, you'll need at least a 7 mm. If you have drysuits, bring them. You'll be much more comfortable in them. :palmtree: Bob
