Tampa, Florida!!

Hey i was wondering if anyone has any good places to dive near tampa, FL. I dont have a boat that will go out 40 miles, so i was wondering if there are any shore dive that I could get a kayak for... any suggestions would be great.

Forty miles is way way out! Check on the Tampa thread, often peeps are out diving! Additionally we like meeting other divers.

As for actual shore diving here - nada. Unless you got to a spring - I myself don't care for springs.

also, I guess its more like 25 miles.... 40 is pretty far. is the general rule of thumb 1 mile per 2 ft.?

Venice Beach and Anna Marie Island both are good shore diving spots.
