Tampa area diving

I will be in Tampa for a long weekend mid July. Can anyone tell how the diving is at that time of year, vis water temp ect. Also a good chater (ie not cattle boat) boat to use.

PS. If I wasn't so busy in July I'd volunteer to show you some of the better diving in the area myself.
