Tall tank valves on doubles

Hi, im assembling an Al80 doubles. I saw that DGX has tall tank vales and the standard short ones. any reason why one would go with tall tank valves?

im 5'6" and my buddy is 5'2" this Al80 will be primarily for my buddy

No. Unless you want to be more head heavy

great for a little better reach with my bad shoulders....

They also let me move the tanks lower to make me less head heavy (steel)..

Yes, so you can fit your fingers under the valve to move/lift it.
