Hi everyone;
I have finally set a date for taking my NSS-CDS cavern and basic cave course. I'm very excited, but I'm going to be exausted. For the first time I'm going to do mini season which means working all day tues. then driving a few hours to ft pierce to meet with my friends, dive weds and thurs, drive home thurs night, work all day fri, them back in the car to drive a few more hours up to lake city, hopefully get some rest and start the class sat morning through monday. then drive a few more hours back to cape coral. but when it's for fun it's a lot easier then when it's for work.
let you know how it goes, Dan

Who did you decide to go with?

a local cave guy from here uses Michael O'Leary and he speaks highly of him, says he's not one of those guys that thinks he's God and makes sure you know it.

Wow, that is going to be a long week for you. Even though it's or fun, the cavern/basic class will probably wear you out. It's not just the physical aspect, it is the emotional and mental aspect. Your brain gets a lot of stimulus in these classes.

Have a blast!

Sounds Great. My wife suggested that I should go ahead and do that class also. I'll still be doing the wreck dives with Silent World that flowing week in Key Largo.

hey captron, long time no talk, wish i could do those wreck dives with you, but my time off of work is limited. we still need to do more spearfishing though before i get rusty, or are you afraid of the competition. just kidding, i have'nt exactly been slaying them lately. later

Have fun with your class, but I pity you . . . All of your discretionary income and all of your spare time from then on will be spent scheming how to get back into the caves :)

One of my cave buddies had Oleary for intro and liked him alot.I have met him at Peacock a time or two.Nice guy.Cavern and intro in three days huh?Good luck with it.I hope you have your buancy tweeked already.IMO,Intro or basic is the hardest one to get.The rest ,if youve been caving alot,are easier.

If you are using Mike O'Leary , I will definately see you around :D
Say HI to anyone that is called Beano around Dive Outpost :rofl3:

Jeano Beano
