Are you folks ready for a new year of dive adventures on our new day?
I know that this email is something that you all have been looking forward to, so thank you for being the first folks interested in group dives & events!

To our new folks, welcome! If you have been around from the beginning, thank you!

2025 is the year I am deepening this sandbox. So, jump in and grab a shovel; can you dig it?

I made the TSD group to find divers in our area and get together to DO the thing! I'm investing the time to build and have a formal "Dive Club". I greatly appreciate your enthusiasm, input, and creative ideas.

Why you signed up for the newsletter:
The next dive day is this upcoming Sunday, Feb 23rd, :D The meet and brief starts at 9AM. Then, we plan to be in the water no later than 10:30AM. So where is this mystery spot?

Carnelian Bay - The Garwoods side, North side of Tahoe. :)

Karl @ Dive Lake Tahoe has a writeup on this spot found here:
Carnelian-bay

Again, the meet & brief will start at 9AM. Please let me know if you are running a little slow. Mobile # 415-617-5748

This will be a possible 2-dive get together. Dive time (duration) will be discussed during the meet and brief. Dry suits and other keep warm equipment is recommended as there IS snow on the ground. Another reason that we like this site in the winter is it is close to Garwoods, so if our dryland folks want to keep warm, there is a space close by.

The weather is looking good! Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 54ºF. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. There is an 8% chance of moisture. Well, can divers dive in the rain? The answer is NO.. Cuz our gear gets wet.

10 Day Forecast

Parking:
Free

Planning on attending this dive?
RSVP ASAP with a simple email reply. This will help me gauge how many divers to expect.
Please fill out the waiver to save time on dive day, as a waiver WILL BE required to dive with the group. IF you have filled one out this year, you are all set!

Until then,
Thank you for all your time and hope to see you folks for some diving fun soon. :D
