Tahiti or Moorea?

I'm going to be in Tahiti for one (infinitely too short) day, and I'm wondering if it's better to dive in Tahiti, or take the time to go to Moorea? Any suggestions?

Dive shop/dive site recommendations?

I haven't dove in Tahiti, but my dives in Moorea were fantastic.

That said, from Tahiti, the time to go to Moorea (by plane) amounts to about 10 minutes (plus maybe 10-15 more in the airports). Figure 30 minutes by boat. Hope that helps.

The ferry to Moorea is very quick and the diving is going to be much better than Tahiti. Papeete is like being in LA. Contact Bathy's Club, www.dive-moorea.com , they may even be able to send someone to get you at the ferry terminal. Very nice people!!
