Symmetrical Fossils

I have come across several of these fossil pieces in the Florida Panhandle springs. They appear to be turtle material. The shapes are all similar but different sizes.

What might be these pieces? These are front and back views. For size reference the largest is just over an inch long.

I believe you are correct in thinking they are turtle shell fossils. I found similar fossils in Venice many years ago. One of them is from an edge and is one of the main reasons that I have felt that they were turtle shells. The shapes and edges are very similar to modern turtle shells.

Thanks for the reply. I, too, have pieces of turtle shell but they are random pieces and shapes. I find it wierd that these pieces are lieing randomly about and all have basically the same shape.
