thanks Dennis and yep.... usually get them at Kurnell all the time but these were at Bare Island... across a shipping channel away and you might find 1 or 2 if you look for them

we where hoping to find a red indian pacific fish but the baby just blew me away
 
Where would you suggest diving in Oz, almity?
 
in Oz.... well we're a big island

Sydney for Weedy Sea Dragons & Grey Nurse Sharks (when in season) or a road trip to South West Rocks or FishRock
Broome/Ningaloo for Whale Sharks
Queensland for the warmer stuff (i dont have much experience with Qld) but personall i would choose Solitary Island/Byron Bay/Julian Rocks over GBR because of $$$ & tourist
South Australia for Leafy Sea Dragon and GWS cage diving if thats your thing

i need to plan another holiday!
