Agree, that's what I will use as well, maybe 120 degrees. I checked the Atomic ball swivel if the design is appropriate for side mounting and found that it does not bend enough. Therefore a fixed 90 or 120 degrees fixed angle is better all ways. For BM, a ball swivel is useful to a degree.

I use the 90 degrees swivel on left post for sm. No need for bm
