Ambulance and rescue services are attending Wattamolla Beach in NSW after an unconscious diver was pulled from the water by a swimmer.

Rescue crews are on the scene in the Royal National Park south of Sydney, having been called around 1pm, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said.

The current status of the diver is not known but 9News reports they hit their head while in the water.

A Westpac Life Saver rescue helicopter is also at the scene.

Will be a snorkeller or spearfisher. No-one scuba dives there as too far to walk from the shore.

Article from 2015.
Good lord, Google. I said search the last 24 hours! That happens all too often so I try to watch for such.
