I was going to purchase the Dive Rite XT1//XT4 reg setup, but have recently read that my SWIFT transmitter does not fit organically on the XT1. Has anyone had experience with this? Are there first stage regulators that fit 'organically' (sans adapter/pigtail)? Much appreciated for any thoughts on the matter.

Not that I know the HP port side size ( I would have guessed that they are the modern 7/16 standard ) but why a direct connection?

A short HP hose can save a lot of pain with accidentally grabbing a tank from the transmitter

The thread size on both transmitter and 1st stage should be available on their websites

I have two Dive Rite XT1s, both with a SWIFT transmitter directly attached. Photo below of one of them ... my stage reg. Zero issues.

I also have SWIFT transmitters mounted directly on Aqua Lung Legends, Mikrons and Deep 6 Expedition 1st stages. No issues.

Looking at the reg there could *possibly* be some interference with the transmitter and a LP hose. However, as the LP ports are on a swivel it should be avoidable at *perhaps* a slightly less desirable routing.

That said, like many we run our transmitters on short hoses and tuck them between the wing and cylinder(s).

And many of us just screw the transmitter directly into the first stage and have for years with no problems.

They do not fit on the FT1 without a short hose due to proximity to LP ports. I guess it could work if you had no LP hoses on the side of the FT1 that the transmitter is on, but other than that it’s a no go.

The XT1 is fine.
