Does anyone know if there is a kit or something similar to do this? Has anyone done this and know the best way to go about doing this?

Thanks in advance for any info.

There's a wrist boot kit for the Vyper. It's pretty easy, comes with 2 pins and the 2 ends of the watch strap. The watch strap is plastic, though.

I had originally wanted to wear my Vyper on my wrist, but it turns out that the size of the Vyper was a little large for me (female w/small wrists). My LDS had thrown in the kit for free when I purchased the Vyper, so I'm not sure how much it costs.

It is a bigger pain getting the computer out of the wrist boot to put it into a console than vice versa.

It took a few phone calls, but I found a LDS that was a Aqualung/Suunto dealer and had the boot, straps and pins in stock. I can't recall exactly how much it was, but I do recall getting change back from my $20.

I have the modular console which made it much easier to remove the Vyper that the older solid type boot.

I still haven't decided which I like better. The one time I used the wrist mount I managed to whack it enough to put a couple of good scratches into the protective cover.

As the original precipitator of the Vyper Wrist Bungee post, I'll add my two cents worth.....Started with the console...that suck#d, then I went to the Vyper Bungee....it was awesome, easily adjustable and moved where and when I wanted it to. Then I thought that I would be better off with the actual wrist strap...bought it, installed it, and hated it.....

I am a little scatter brained at times and if I forget to put the computer on before my gloves, I had to have someone help me put the wrist strap on....then I tried to put it on without gloves (over a drysuit) and it was still a pain.

Anyway...watch out on eBay..I'll be selling my wrist strap shortly and going back to the bungee.
