Hello all. Is there a way to control the upload from watch to computer. MY Stinger uploads every dive in the memory every time. THANKS CHRIS

No, it's an all or nothing deal.

I'm using Suunto Dive Manager 1.6 (downloadable for free), and there is a way to avoid duplication of transfers from the Stinger to the computer. In Dive Manager, click on Help and read about Duplicate Checking.

This will not prevent the stinger from downloading the information, it'll just keep from duplicating the dive. The information has to be transferred first.

The only way is to upload and wipe the memory on the Stinger so that only one trips worth of dives are ever on it when you do the upload.

Why do you want to keep old dives on the computer?

Why does it matter? it will add the ones that weren't previously downloaded to your manager software. I leave them on my stinger so I can quickly reference them if I'm away from my laptop; or my laptop happens to be dead.

If it's because you keep deleting dives and they keep coming back; don't delete them; set them to be ignored; and you won't see them and the computer interface won't think that it forgot to download them.
