hey everyone
i am looking to purchase a suunto computer and would like to use the software included to download my dive history. was wondering if this software is mac compatible. thanks so much for your help everyone!

While Suunto has never officially published the protocol, there are several third-party programs that support it. I learned the protocol by reading the source code to one of the other programs that does this.

I do plan to have Oceanic support in DiveLog sometime in the next few months. Once I get USB device driver support for the interface, actually communicating with the computer should be easy.

I look forward to having support on my Mac for the Oceanic products, please keep us posted. :eyebrow:

Hi Mark-

Any update on how the Oceanic support is coming along?

I've reverse engineered the protocol between the desktop and the dive computer. I'm working on the USB device driver for their adapter cable now. This is a project I work on nights & weekends, and with the summer in New England, I'm more likely to want to get out of the house instead of sitting in front of a computer. So progress is slow.
