I have a Suunto Vyper Air and use the Dive Manager Software to download and capture all my dives. Unfortunately my laptop just died - luckily it's not the Hard Drive and that works just fine when I dock it to another computer. However I'd like to know where to locate the file that captures all that info so that I can install the Dive Manager on another pc and just transfer that file across.

:help:

Here is the download location for the software: Suunto - Suunto Dive Manager

Here is download location for the manual & software: Suunto - Download Center and User Manuals

The 'log' is contained within an SDL file. If you can locate that on your old hard-drive, you should be able to transfer it into the programme file for the Download Manager in the new location.

Alternatively, it can be an MDL file....

For example: with a D9 computer..

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Suunto\D9.mdb

Windows Vista or Windows 7:
C:\ProgramData\Suunto\D9.mdb

The folder is hidden by default, that means you must show hidden files in Windows.

Thanks Andy! Sorry, should have searched first. Off to hunt those files down now.

Edit: whoohoo! Found it - transferred it and it's working. All there again.

Sorry language issue, not the manual of the Vyper Air but the manual of Suunto Dive Manager.
The help of the software does not give all the clue of what it is possible to do with the software...

I am thinking about buying a Suunto D6 and would appreciate any insight as to the specific model and Sunnto in general as I have never used any of their products.

I greatly appreciate it!!!!
