If was spending that amount of money on a dive computer, and despite being a long-standing fan of Suunto dive computers, I'd opt for a Liquivision X1.

Hi DevonDiver. I must say I've got a new found respect for you after reading the 73meter deep dive in air. Damn that was a long one. Why would you go for Liquividion X1 instead?

I love that computer for rec dives. For conservatism it seems close to a D6 as far as NDL is concerned. I have no experience pn tech dive as up to now I use it in gauge mode and my computer is a wrist slate.

Now if you want to compare the algo with VPM+1 I have no doubt that you'll stay longer under water with the D9TX. I use VPM +2 ou +3.
 
Why would you go for Liquividion X1 instead?
