Yes, the item is for sale. The digital compass itself can be calibrated very easily to your location - basically you press a button and turn 360 degrees. It can also be calibrated for tilt, meaning there is no limitation on usage by geographic location. You can also change all settings between metric and imperial. Hope this answers your question.
