Suunto Cobra 1 or 2?

Hi

Does anybody know how to see/recognise a Cobra 1 or a Cobra 2?

What is the difference?

Power them on. The Cobra 2 has a matrix display like the d-series watches and electronic compass functionality.

As far as I can recall, the Cobra 1 is a 3 button computer while I think the Cobra 2 is a 4 button computer. Of course, the Cobra 3 is also a 4 button, so you still may have an identity problem there.

Edit: Just looked up the Cobra 2 owner's manual on-line and it is definitely a 4 button. And I know the Cobra 1 is a 3 button because that's what I use for a back-up. So there you go.
