Strange, but I just flooded my Shockwave II on a dive of only seven feet. The light worked flawlessly for a long time, but I recently changed batteries. Next dive (the shallow one), and I flooded it. I inspected the o-ring (both before and after) and it appears in flawless condition. No dust, hair, etc in the threads. The bezel was on tightly. In short, I can't come up with a single reason for the flood. Any words of wisdom from out there?

Over-tighnening a screw on light cover can distort the case and result in flooding. Snug but not tight is usually the way to go.
