After anchoring near White Point Rock this morning we had a large baitball create a feeding frenzy among the birds, dolphins and sea lions. Under water, we had a baitball obscure the ambient light so much that it became a night dive for a few moments. Merry was buzzed by a sea lion who zipped through the shadow of fish.
Visibility was poor, about four to five feet and we had surge throughout both dives. The cold water has returned. After a couple weeks of balmy 55F water it was back down to 51F.

Poor image of an Ategema alba. I included it because of its little hitch hiker.

Great Footage of the Hermit!

Love the rhinopores in the surge, and the little hairy-footed fellow gingerly testing the water.
