Question Surface air pressure reading deviation +4% from official weather report: an acceptable error?

Regarding DIN 13319, endless paywalls wherever you turn, but I did manage to snag a couple of screenshots from PDF Download DIN EN 13319 [EN]: Diving Accessories - Depth Gauges and Combined Depth and Time Measuring Devices - Functional and Safety Requirements, Test Methods which give a clue.

In particular clause 4.1.2 on page 3 explains a requirement for depth readings beyond 60m (7atm) to be within constant error bars +10 / - 15 kPA which is +100 / -150 mbar. So perhaps there we go: the tolerance at the surface is potentially wider than the Teric.
