I received an email from Sport Diver concerning Sunset Divers 40th. Is anyone going to this? I've never been to one of these events. What are they like? Would my wife (non-diver) be bored out of her mind?

Is she going to want to sit on the beach? There isn't one there - it's all ironshore.

They do have a pool and My Bar - which is a diver's hangout so...My Bar is the building with the blue umbrellas to the right.

She could walk/short cab ride to downtown Georgetown from there. Shopping, restaurants etc. But when the cruise ships are in (almost daily) shopping is a lot less fun.

Thanks diversteve! It happens that I will be in GC during the event so I'd like to share what I'm doing with the wife. Maybe i'll just leave her behind and go hangout for an afternoon,

You really don't need to leave her out. Its a great hang out. She can have some conch fritters at my bar while you spend an hour doing a shore dive.. Then stick around for dinner.. Btw they have free wifi so she can catch up on emails

My girlfriend and I will be there from April 18th through the 28th.
