sunscreen advice

hi there, i'm a newly certified open water diver and am going to cozumel in about a week and will be working on my advanced. i'm excited!! hey, about sunscreen........i'm looking for biodegradable, and safe for wetsuits. what about Bodyglide? will they take that one away from you? i think it says all natural on it, and its safe for wetsuits. what about bullfrog? will they let you use that one? is bullfrog safe for wetsuits? (have a nice brand new 3/2). also have seen on the web one called Safe Sea. is that one biodegradable and also safe for wetsuits? thanks so much for your help!!

You can buy plenty of biodegradable sunscreen down here in Mexico, and as far as I know it doesnt really effect your wetsuit. It will fog up your mask tho.

my advice on sunscreen is not to drink it. unless you run out of tequila.

My sunscreen when I am ib tropical areas: clothes. Even on the beach, and even when I bath, i wear at least a T-shirt.

Here's a tip from a frequent South Florida Diver:

Apply ample sunscreen all over your body first thing when you wake up in the morning. That gives it time to soak in before your out in the sun sweating. One morning application will last me 5 hours through a two tank dive.

I like "no name brand" in the blue bottle.
