Sunken sub in St. Martin

Does anyone know the name of the submarine that sunk in St. Martin. I've done a web search and all I can find is that it is 20 ft. below the surface and they snuba there. All the sites do not give a name to it.

St Martin has maybe 10 wrecks and a few of them are shallow, but no submarines that I am aware of. SNUBA is indeed popular on St Martin.

When something as valuable as a ship, much less a submarine, is lost in 20 feet of water, chances are somebody is going to call Triple A and put a hook on it pronto. Any wreck that sits in 20 feet of water usually doesn't last long due to wind and wave action from storm surge.

Lots to do there on SNUBA , don't fret over a phantom submarine.

A friend went on a Carnival Cruise and did this and said no one knew the name of the sub. I didn't believe him, that no one knew the name until I did a search and there are references to it. I don't know why people bother to post if they don't know the answer unless they just want to get a high number of posts.

Odyssey 1. It's an old tourist sub - maybe one of the Atlantis fleet at one time.

Not exactly a sunken German U-Boat, but I bet it will still make a wonderful trap for some idiot snorkeller one day...
