Summerville lake

We'll be down rafting on the New river Sunday and Monday.

I'm going to look it over but not bring any gear this time.

Great lake to dive in. Weekends can get a little crowded. Call Ken at WVMountain Divers @304-250-7648, he knows the lake better than anyone

I have heard the vis is supposed to be great in the summer, depending on rain. I only have heard cuz my buddy bailed on me! He thought his home purchase was more important...geez...what was he thinking

where is this lake located? sounds fun... I've never been but want too now.

I dived there last Saturday; vis was pretty bad at the Winter Access Road entry site (next to base of dam) 10 feet max with some areas 2 feet max. Even at 60 feet you could see your hand...that's about all.

This lake is in central WV, and is wonderful for diving at times!
