Headed to Cairns in a few weeks. I have a 3mm shorty, but the charter suggested a full skin at minimum. Would that be enough? Maybe a full 1mm?

Thoughts for anybody that has been there this time of year?

1mm full provides good protection against coral scrapes and the usual unseen "rogue stinging hydroid"; it also drys faster and packs easier. If you need more thermal comfort, just layer the 3mm shorty on top of the 1mm full (or alternatively, just leave your shorty at home and rent one over there in order to create more packing space in your luggage. . .)
