We at Submariner Diving Center in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines are now offering marine bio internships in conjunction with NeuroLinx research institute (La Jolla, CA, USA).
We are basically interested in marine biodiversity and fish behavior. We believe that we can seriously contribute to these fields even though we are "only" a dive shop. We have some of the world's most biodiverse waters on our doorstep. And we have good ideas and the background knowledge to pose interesting questions. The internships are meant for people who want to spend 1-3 months investigating a circumscribed marine bio topic (which we discuss beforehand) in the Philippines.
