dunno - seems to happen quite often though (but I can't think of any more examples!). Popes do it too - John Paul, not very Polish is it?!

Heh, heh, heh. Actually, the kiwifruit (aka the Chinese gooseberry) DID originally come from Asia (Southern China). It does grow well in NZ, though (and apparently, in parts of Vancouver Island, yet another reason besides diving to move there).

ckharlan666 - I can sympathize - think of all the *useful* stuff that I could remember if only my brain wasn't stuffed with useless trivia (but I did pass the quiz :p )
