there's a new dive shop at Subic near the bayfront, its at the side of boardwalk hotel -- its called boardwalk dive center. 750/dive.

nice diving in Subic -- el kapitan 100% blue spotted sting rays. have gone there about 6 times, never failed to see at least 4 sting rays each dive. USS New York is also a nice wreck dive. lots of fish, eagle rays can also be seen there.

the vis is not like anilao, but is a different experience worth trying out at least once.

Phew, now that I'm back from traveling half around the world, I can get back to planning some diving!!! BTW, I think I might be heading out to Subic this weekend (was able to get a cheap ticket into Clark). Might try to get some trimix dives in as a refresher for my end of Apr/ early May tech trip in the South China Sea...

Anybody else gonna be around Subic 15-16 and interested in doing some 40-60m trimix dives? Thinking of using Yohann's again but as much as I like his operation, I didn't like the location of his shop. Anyone recommend any other tech shops? maybe in the freezone or whatever you call it.

Subic won't prepare you for that :D

BTW - you could try captain greg's place in the freeport but IMHO none of the shops are upto PG standards.

it's the only weekend I can do it in. Can't do it 22-24, and then I'm off to Singapore for the big trip on Apr 29 for a week.

i suggest johans for trimix dives.. only place with helium analyzer and coordinates for the 'secret wrecks'..

Never mind, I looked at Johan's website.
