Floater, as for places to stay, Yohan's place is cheap and there are tons of cheap places around Baloy Beach/ Barrio Barretto. Plus Yohan's got some gps points for a lot of interesting wrecks that the other shops don't have. Yohan's place isn't luxurious, but adequate and food is pretty decent. www.subicdive.com. If you want something nicer, Yohan's manager there can help you arrange hotels around the place. And yes there really isn't any beach dives in Subic... All boat dives. Just make sure you get Johan's faster speedboat (the other is real slow)...

As for tech diving, I think Yohan's the only shop there that has all the facilities (twins/ deco tanks/ trimix (expensive! unless you have a group to split the cost). Alternative is Sam Collet over at Tech Asia (PG) who does frequent wreck/tech courses in Subic. But that's if you wanna do a course.
